It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery … for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:1,6,13-14)
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in love. That is a concise summary of the value system of my kingdom: only faith that is being expressed in love has any value. Statements of faith are meaningless if they are only statements. Declarations of faith are empty words if they are not followed by loving actions. The level of someone’s faith is not measured by their certainty, but only by their willingness to serve another humbly in love. Every expectation I have ever had over the human race is summed up in this one command: Love your neighbor as yourself. This is the purpose of the freedom I have given you and this is the great secret to not only inner joy, but outward fruitfulness. My purpose for faith is much more than just healing or even a deeper relationship, it is that it be expressed in the language of love for others.
